I love the beginning of a new semester. January always brings with it the opportunity to start fresh. New Year. New classes. New professors. Perhaps even a new school or new city. We shared this with you in the fall, but just in case life got a little busy, this semester is a great opportunity to get to know NOBTS Women.
Who are NOBTS Women?
We are women NOBTS students.
We are here to grow and learn.
We are here to minister and serve.
We are called to be equipped for whatever God has prepared for us.
We are Quest.
We are wives of NOBTS students.

We are called to prepare for ministry alongside our husbands.
We are Student Wives Fellowship.
We are NOBTS staff women and wives of staff.
We serve in a variety of roles on campus.
We minister in all kinds of ways to our campus community.
We get together for fun, food, and fellowship.
We are Heartbeat.
We are NOBTS faculty women or wives of faculty.
We can be found all over campus serving at a variety of events.
We minister in many different ways to our campus community.
We love to encourage and minister to students and student wives.
We are Profettes.
Who are we? Gathered together we are NOBTS Women. We fill many roles in our seminary community. Maybe, like me, you fit more than one. At one time I have been in each of these roles! Sometimes we join together for events, like our Women’s Conference, Holiday Market, and Tour of Homes. Then at other times, we meet together for fellowship and community in smaller groups. Whatever you do in your time at NOBTS, don’t miss out! Get to know our faculty and staff women as you see us at events. Make new friends with fellow students and student wives.
Why do we have NOBTS Women groups? While several reasons exist, I want to focus on one: Encouragement! This year we are focusing on doing everything with Characteristic Excellence. Paul reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:11 to “…encourage one another and build each other up as you are already doing.” What better way to help each other pursue excellence than by encouraging one another! How can you do that? Connect with other women at one of our many events!
If you are a woman student, student wife, or staff woman, you don’t have to do anything to join those groups. Just check our schedule of events online or on social media and join in where you can! While it may seem never ending (!), your time at seminary is really brief. Make the most of it by being a part of NOBTS Women! Encourage others while you are here and you will be encouraged!
